Oh Boise

It's been a seamless and most excellent trip so far! Off to SLC tomorrow. Here are some of the photos we took today...

We've arrived in Boise! It took 12 hours to get here. We had no traffic and beautiful weather. The drive through Oregon is along the Columbus River and changes in terrain every hour or so. It's also part of the Oregon Trail so there are lots of state marks and historic areas. The only ones we explored here McDonalds, Burger King and like 5 bathrooms. Kim and I have decided to find THE best french fries between Seattle and Boulder. So far the golden arches are in the lead. And there, I said it. That's right... I purchased something from McDonalds today. AND Burger King. OMG.

First impressions of Idaho:
  • Idaho smells like rot. Sperlled milk, old cheese, rotten eggs and cow piss. Not that we know what that smells like, but Idaho smells like what I think it would smell like.
  • They yell here. A lot. All the time. WOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  • Sex is allowed in bars. Well, gross PDA is at least.
  • No one knows the word 'hi.' They aint nice!
  • Sangria in Boise = Amaretto Sours. Reminds us of high school.
  • There are even cute gay waitors in IdaHO.
  • There are, indeed, city buildings in Idaho.

The Jeep is pimped out and treating us well. Rusty seems okay. He hasn't gotten the courage to venture beyond our laps, but he's got a good set-up in the back for when he decides to check it out. He seems happy and is pretty chill.

Till tomorrow...!
